From Howard Nippert, of USATF: "Due to the timing of the 2014 IAU World 24 Hour Championship in close proximity to the date of the 2014 USATF National 24 Hr Championship, it has been determined by the Mountain, Ultra, and Trail Council of USATF that the winner of the 2014 USATF National 24 Hour Championship will NOT receive automatic selection to the 2015 U.S. National 24 Hour Team.
Qualifying marks posted at the 2014 U.S. National 24 Hour Championship will count toward qualifying for the 2015 Team, but no automatic selection from the 2014 U.S. National 24 Hr Championship will be made."

"The race committee and sponsors of the NorthCoast24 event are committed to creating a quality event with the needs of each individual runner in mind. We will do everything possible in order to enhance and maximize every participant's experience, including safety, enjoyment, and personal performance."
- Dan Horvath,
Fall Race Director
Welcome! The NorthCoast 24-Hour Endurance Run is an exciting endurance race held on the shores of Lake Erie at Cleveland's scenic Edgewater Park. The 2014 race was held on September 20-21, 2014. Please note that until further notice, the spring version of NC24 will no longer be held. Also beginning this year, NC24 is one event: a 24-hour run. There is no longer an additional 12-hour competition. You can, of course, opt to run for any length of time up to 24 hours that you wish. Possible records for 12 hour runs as well as some distances will be tracked.
NC24 is the USATF National Championship for 2014. This means that the best runners in the country will be on hand to try to become National Champion, compete for age group awards, and to possibly be chosen for the National Team. But you do not have to be a top runner to participate. NC24 is open to all!
We on the organizing committee sincerely hope that all runners enjoy the NC24 to its fullest. Please let us know how we can help you enjoy it more!
